Dr. Perales received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The University of Georgia. He graduated from The University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Dr. Perales has been an associate at Alpharetta Animal Hospital since May, 1991.

Dr. Perales' family includes his wife Darlene, his two sons Austin and Mitchell, a border collie mix named Cody, and a golden retriever named Cassie. He enjoys cooking, gardening, and photography.
