Dr. Jan Hines opened Alpharetta Animal Hospital in 1973 with just himself and one employee. Since then, he has grown his practice to include 9 veterinarians and 35 plus dedicated staff members. He was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to the Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine where he served for 12 years. He was also appointed to the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates which evaluates a Foreign Veterinarian’s abilities to meet American Veterinary Standards.

Dr. Perales graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. His special interest is soft tissue surgery. Dr. Perales also has an interest in orthopedic hip and elbow x-rays for Orthopedic Foundation for Animals Certification. He enjoys cooking, gardening and fishing. He is married and has two children.
Dr. Keller graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. He is most interested in internal medicine. He is married with two daughters and also has two dogs, a Labrador and a Terrier mix. In his spare time he enjoys golfing and boating on the lake.
Dr. Doiron graduated from University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She started working at Alpharetta Animal Hospital in high school. She is most interested in endocrinology, oncology, and surgery with her passion being stem cell therapy. She is married and has two daughters. She has two French bulldogs, two cats, fish and chickens. She enjoys camping, sports, shopping and spending a day at the lake.

Dr. Davenport graduated from University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She first started working at Alpharetta Animal Hospital when she was 18. She is most interested in oncology, cardiology and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Davenport is married and has one son along with their four dogs. Outside of work, she is an avid UGA fan, enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Dr. Sullivan graduated from University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She joined us in November 2015 from Hamby Road Animal Hospital. Dr. Sullivan has a special interest in Internal medicine and was the past President of the Gwinnett Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Sullivan has 2 active children, a daughter and son, as well as 2 dogs and a cat. Outside of working she loves to spend time with her children, cook, garden, and go to the lake.

Dr. Marta Crespo-Reyes is originally from Corozal, Puerto Rico. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez Campus. She received her veterinary degree from St George’s University in 2011 after having finished her clinical year at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Before joining us, Dr. Crespo-Reyes practiced as a Veterinarian in Dorado, Puerto Rico and Marietta, Georgia. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dermatology, preventive medicine and rehabilitation. She currently lives in Lawrenceville, Georgia with her husband, son, daughter, dog and cat.

Dr. Roveto graduated from the University of Georgia with her bachelor’s degree in 2015 and with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 making her a “double dawg”. She worked for Alpharetta Animal Hospital before starting vet school and returned to start off her veterinary career. Her interests include internal medicine, cardiology and preventative medicine. Dr. Roveto has a beloved 17-year-old family Weimaraner named Sadie, and she lives in Atlanta with her rescue Beagle dog named Mona. Outside of work, she loves cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and watching football. Go Dawgs!
