Founded in 1973 by Dr. Hines, Alpharetta Animal Hospital has been a trusted cornerstone of the North Fulton community for more than five decades. Dr. Hines built the practice on a foundation of compassionate care, integrity, and strong relationships with local families. He remained a dedicated and beloved part of the hospital until his passing, leaving behind a legacy that continues to shape the way we practice medicine today.

As Alpharetta grew from a small rural town into one of Georgia’s most vibrant suburban communities, the hospital grew right alongside it. What began as a modest two-doctor practice has evolved into a full-service veterinary hospital known for its high medical standards, surgical expertise, and commitment to exceptional patient care. Through every chapter of growth, Dr. Hines’ philosophy—treat every pet like family and every client with honesty and kindness—remains at the heart of the practice.

Today, the hospital is owned by Pam, Dr. Hines’ daughter, who continues to uphold the values and vision her father established. Under her leadership, Alpharetta Animal Hospital blends the warmth of a long-standing neighborhood clinic with the advanced technology and modern medicine of a contemporary veterinary center.
